HAPPY EASTER!

It's Resurrection Sunday today. We all know and believe that Jesus Christ rose from the grave and now sits at God's right hand. Let's have a look at the article below to see where we'll end up following our time on this planet.

Act 1:11 (ASV)

this Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye beheld him going into heaven.

Jesus was welcomed into the Celestial Kingdom. When Jesus arrived in paradise, he was greeted with joy. Jesus was accepted by Heaven. Will you be accepted by heaven? When angels saw the Lord Jesus, they may have shouted joyously. The King has returned. He passed the test and is now back in his rightful place. Jesus spent 33 1/2 years on this planet. While on earth, he never committed a single sin. He never abused his position of power. Pilate gave him a clean bill of holiness before he died. He was completely blameless (Pilate besieged). Pilate wished to save the Lord, but Jesus was adamant about saving us. Nobody could assassinate Jesus. He offered himself as a sacrifice to save humanity.

Jesus, the Lamb of God, was both innocent and holy.

He was given a clean chit before his death (crucifixion). Jesus (the worldwide ruler) was declared holy by Pilate, the ruler. Jesus led a holy life. Do you live a life free of sin?

On the cross, the highest God received the holy offering. Hallelujah!

Jesus remained faithful to his Father until his death. Are you obedient to God, or do you make compromises? Jesus preserved his testimony and never compromised himself.

Judas, one of his chosen disciples, betrayed him by kissing the Lord on the cheek before handing him over to the soldiers. Jesus did not scold or become enraged. Do we get enraged over trivial matters? Why don't we emulate Jesus? At work, how do we treat our co-workers? Do you sink to their level and pay back someone who has wronged you, or do you keep your cool? Is God pleased with your actions? If your partner betrays you, how do you react?

The disciples all deserted Jesus. But he wasn't mad at them. In fact, after his resurrection, we see that he was preparing them for ministry.

Even before he died on the cross, Jesus lived a life that pleased his Father. In two different situations, his Father addressed him as "beloved son."

The world had rejected him, Peter had denied him three times, and yet Jesus never said a bad word. He maintained his sanctity.

When the Jews and the thieves mocked him on the cross, he did not respond. He remained silent. In fact, he spoke a word of forgiveness. You, Jesus, my precious Jesus, are deserving of all our adoration!

Even when Jesus' Father abandoned him, he kept his cool. His overall attitude and behaviour were like sweet incense to the Heavenly Father. The Lord Jesus' way of life on earth delighted the Father greatly.

After rising from the dead, Jesus strengthened his followers, who had deserted him in the garden of Gethsemane when he was arrested. He never leaves us. Hallelujah!

Are you living a life that God approves of? Is your way of life acceptable to God?

We all pray, study the Bible, pay our tithes, and engage in other Godly practises. But it is more important to live a holy, God-pleasing life. We must present ourselves as a pure living sacrifice to him.

Jesus was welcomed into Heaven. Not everyone will be received into heaven. Remember, only five of the ten wise virgins were admitted to the banquet; the other five were turned away.

Be Jesus to someone on earth. If you live like him, when you finish your journey here, he will gladly welcome you into his arms.

When the lost son returned to his father, he was welcomed and well treated. If you have not yet received Christ in your life, pray for salvation, accept him as your personal saviour, and you will be welcomed into his eternal life. If you have wandered off and made friends with the world, return to your heavenly Father today; he is ready to forgive and restore you.

The thief on the cross embraced Jesus into his life, and he was welcomed into the Lord's heavenly home.

Even in the face of so much grief and agony, Jesus didn't forget where he came from. He was laser-focused on completing his mission and returning to his Father. He committed his spirit to his Father after completing the duty to its full extent.

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:46 (KJV)

The father has now joyfully welcomed his son into heaven. Act 1:11

We originated from God; will we return to Him, or will we end up somewhere else after our life on this planet?

In the Old Testament, only immaculate and blameless animals were sacrificed on the altar. The sacrificial item would be examined by the priest and approved. Jesus (a perfect and holy sacrifice), died on your behalf and washed us clean of all our sins. Let us not return to the old ways of life because his blood made us acceptable to our Father. Instead, live a God-pleasing life so that when we finish our time here, our Father will also accept us into heaven.

What is the best way for us to live a holy life? Good question; the answer is to read and apply what we learn from God's word.

Will you be received into heaven as Jesus was?

The purpose of this article is not to put anyone in a bad light, but to demonstrate God's grace. We will be welcomed into his kingdom if we can hear his voice today and submit to him.

God bless you!

In Christ,

Stephen John Brother
