GOD'S Image
In today's article, we'll look at God's image and the breath of life.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
And God said, Let
us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God
created man in his image.
You are
not an ordinary person; the world may make fun of you and call you names, but
don't let it bother you. Always remember that you are God's image. Do not let
anyone deprive you of the wonderful truth that you were lovingly created by
God. You are his much-loved. He wants you to enjoy life on Earth and have
complete control over everything.
In the
preceding verses Genesis (1:3-25), God created everything with his word, but
when it came to human beings, he took a personal interest and molded man in
his own image with his hands. You've got his personal stamp on you. Because of
this, the psalmist declares, "I am fearfully and wonderfully formed."
You will be able to conquer all of life's obstacles once you comprehend in your
heart and mind that you were created in the image of God. You might wonder how.
The solution is given below. Please continue reading.
Take a
closer look at the verse Genesis (1:26) God intended for man to rule over all
of creation. Except for the human, none of the creation bore images of God. He
has so abundantly blessed him that he reigns supreme over all of God's
creation.
According
to the first book of the Bible, man has dominion over all of creation.
Now, look
at Luke 10:19. (KJV) Behold, I give
unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
The above
is a New Testament verse. Jesus is repeating what is stated in Genesis 1:26. God wants you to be a conqueror
rather than a victim.
Man has
authority according to both the Old and New Testaments. Are we, however,
capable of exercising our power? Are we overcoming obstacles in our daily
lives? Are we winning these battles as God intended, whether at work, in our
spiritual lives, financially, or emotionally?
How were
the first humans able to rule over the entire creation?
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
And the Lord God
formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and
man became a living soul.
Man was
created from the earth and was nothing more than a clay model. He was devoid of
life. When God breathed into his nostrils, he became a living soul. All of the
creatures were created simply by his command of his word. Animals and birds did
not receive God's breath through their nostrils. He only did it with the human
he created with such care. And since man has the breath of life in him, he is
able to rule everything on earth.
Adam and
Eve were doing well and ruled over the entire creation that God had given them.
However,
the serpent deceived the first human being in the Garden of Eden, causing
mankind to lose God's crown of glory. God, on the other hand, had a plan to
restore man's authority, and He sent his own son to die on the cross for us.
When you are washed by Christ's blood, you are restored to God's image. On you,
the image of sin is no longer visible.
God
breathed life into man's nostrils, causing him to come to life. Read God's word
every day, get his life, and begin to overcome all of life's obstacles, just
like Adam and Eve did before their fall in the Garden of Eden.
2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is
God-breathed
Start
reading God's word every day and make it a habit. Life is infused into lifeless
areas of your life as you read God's word. Remember, man was made of clay, but
when God breathed into his nostril, he became a living being.
No weapon that is
formed against thee
shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou
shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and
their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
The devil
creates weapons to use against you. However, because you are created in the
image of God, the devil's weapons cannot defeat you. He customizes his weapons
to attack God's children, but we must remember that you are made in HIS image,
and these satanic weapons cannot conquer you. Yes, you will be attacked, persecuted,
and go through trials, but you will triumph in Jesus' name.
He can't
do anything on his own since the devil is a copycat. He looks at God's work and
does the exact opposite. In the image of God, man was created. Now the
adversary is attempting to steal that concept and is targeting God's children
by constructing demonic weapons and tools in the image of the devil. While God
gave life to humans, the devil is attempting to murder you and bring death into
every element of your existence.
You are God's image, and you have authority!
