TWENTY TWO - THE YEAR OF LIGHT

On December 31st, my prayer team and I decided to fast and pray to thank God for his protection and faithfulness in the year 2021. Around 12 p.m., the Lord spoke to me about a certain Bible text. The same is being published as my second blog article for the year 2022. This article is a follow-up to the one I published on January 1, 2022.

In the coming blog articles, we will see a lot of posts about this topic.

I finished Revelation's 22 chapters by December 22nd (one chapter per day from the book of Revelation), and I've been reading the 22nd chapter daily since December 23rd until December 31st. I didn't understand why the Holy Spirit made me read the same chapter every day, but I persisted because the Spirit will not lead us astray. I knew there had to be a reason, so I read the chapter every day. And on the last day of the year 2021, God revealed to me a word from this very chapter, which will set the course for the year 2022. Why am I telling you about this? When you read the Bible often enough, it will talk to you. Yes, the Bible speaks to you! So, starting in 2022, acquire the practice of reading the Bible every day.

We can learn a lot from Revelation 22:1, and if we put it into practice in our daily lives, we will be a completely different person.

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1

 

God has given me a word for the first month of 2022, which is the first verse from the 22nd chapter of the book of Revelation. And I am posting this piece on the 22nd of the first month. Why am I focusing on 22? The number 22 represents light. I pray that God's light shines upon you like never before.

 

‘He shewed me’ – An angel from God appeared to John and showed him a lot of things. How blessed he is to have witnessed these future events as well as the heavens. We all see worldly things on gadgets and all around us, and we never have such divine visions, so let us shift our gaze away from worldly things and fix our gaze on him. Then we can have such heavenly visions as well.

Another thing I realized was that we all have eyes to see worldly things, but our spiritual eyes have no vision; we are blind. I beseech God to heal both our spiritual and physical eyes. I say spiritual eyes to see him and physical eyes to avoid looking at sinful things. Lot's wife had her gaze fixed on the world, and we all know what happened to her. We should take lessons from her, see Genesis 19:26. God mentions both the good and negative things that have occurred in order for his children to learn from and develop in him.

‘pure river of water of life’ indicates God’s holiness.

‘the throne of God and of the Lamb’ – In heaven, there is only one throne. God and the Lamb are visible, as well as a pristine river flowing from the throne. God (Jehovah – Father), the Lamb (Jesus – Son), and the life-giving river water (the Holy Spirit). There is only one God. Hallelujah! In the Spirit, John saw this magnificent vision.

Some of my observations from this beautiful verse are listed below:

·         Starting this year, instead of seeking assistance from others, seek assistance from the one who sits on the throne.

·         This scripture also reminds us of what we should ask God this year. And the answer is "a pure river flowing from God's throne, i.e., the Holy Spirit."

·         The Holy Spirit will be poured forth on you. And you will be cleansed and purified.

·         God is a Holy Being (pure water indicates his holiness). Are we leading a holy life?

·         (May God's life-giving water flow in areas where there is no life) We may also witness the Holy Spirit at work in the opening few verses of Genesis 1.

·         The Holy Spirit will remind you of Jesus’s teachings.

·         The pure waters also suggest that people should be baptized (water baptism and Holy Spirit Baptism).

·         People must recommit if they have strayed from the Lord's path.

·         This year, bring yourself closer to God's throne.

·         Do you realize you're adoring the Almighty?

·        God has given us a Word from the book of Revelation, which means that this year God will reveal himself to you. To receive His amazing revelations, you must see him in the spirit and work with Him.

  

In the year 2022, may you experience divine visions like that of John, in Jesus' name, Amen!

    Proving that GOD IS ONE through these verse "In heaven, there is only one throne for God and the Lamb" is out of the box and I thank the Holy spirit (Water) for this life imparting words.

Building with Wisdom!

On June 14th , I went to a prayer meeting at one of my church member’s homes. The prayer request was for a marriage alliance for their daughter. I shared this verse in their home: Proverbs 14:1 (KJV) Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. It is through wisdom that one can build or construct a house. Building a house is not just about the physical structure—it includes nurturing relationships within the family. Anything that is to be built requires wisdom, and we all know that true wisdom comes from God—godly wisdom, not the devil’s cunning or destructive thoughts.
