WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE - 2

Here is the second blog on Wisdom, as promised.

Please read my earlier blog on this topic if you haven't already. This is a follow-up to my previous blog.

To do justice and serve the people, King Solomon sought God's wisdom and knowledge. The bible is such a wonderful book that it also covers all of the specifics of prayer requests. The narrative appears in the Bible twice, in 2 Chronicles 1 and 1 King 3. It's crucial if anything is addressed twice. God wants us to pay attention to this story and to Solomon's speech.

2 Chronicles 1:10 mentions wisdom and knowledge, and 1 King 3:9 makes a similar statement, but from a different angle. Let us analyze this in today's post.

He had asked for a heart of understanding (1 King 3:9). An understanding heart is a heart that listens to God's voice. When you listen to God's voice, you will be more empathic toward people and patient when listening to their issues. You can only do justice to your citizens if you listen carefully with your heart. And a king requires these characteristics in order to serve his people. Yes, you read that correctly: a true king serves the people. Jesus, the king of kings, served us. Hallelujah! And the LORD continues to do so.

On the surface, wisdom and knowledge appear to be linked to intelligence, but they are actually linked to your heart rather than your mind.

Are you hearing God's voice? God speaks from within, which is why we must all invite Christ into our hearts. After accepting him into our hearts, we should be patient and ask him to speak to us on a daily basis. He can speak to your heart in a variety of ways. While reading your Bible, the Holy Spirit will highlight a specific verse for you to pay attention to. God is speaking to you; obey Him. Allow His word to guide you. And, yes, you have an understanding heart when you walk in accordance with his word. You can't make a mistake if you have an understanding heart. Even if you make a mistake, you will recognize it promptly and make the required modifications according to God's instruction. Perhaps God is speaking to you as you read this article; perhaps he is telling you something; pay attention.

Remember how, while two individuals were walking towards Emmaus after Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus enlightened their knowledge during the biblical discussion? See (Luke 24:32). The goal is to read the Bible with diligence. Bible reading should not be rushed. It's fine to read one chapter and study one verse per day rather than prepare 10 chapters at once. It's more important to read well than to read a lot.

Returning to Solomon's story now. Solomon's speech pleased God. What made HIM happy?

1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV)

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

When we seek God's wisdom, we're really looking for Christ, who is God's wisdom.

Solomon requested Christ himself, and God was clearly pleased with such a lovely request. Solomon's request was answered by God. He bestowed upon him a wise and understanding heart, as well as riches, honor, and a long life. (1 King 3:12)

You will flourish in every part of your life and be blessed with a long life if you seek God's wisdom (Christ).

Solomon was able to clearly hear God's voice because God had given him an understanding heart. That is how he was able to write the Bible's three books-Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon.

Solomon was so well-liked in his time that rulers from all over the world came to visit his magnificent realm. Even in 2021, we can see how blessed he was while reading "Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Solomon's Song." This serves as a reminder that God's word is eternal. God is faithful to his promises. Let us believe his word without reservation; God's word will not fail us.

With his wisdom and knowledge, God laid the groundwork for this planet.

Proverbs 3:19-20 (KJV).

19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Seek HIS wisdom if you need a firm foundation in any area of your life, particularly your spiritual life and relationship with God.

Solomon was able to construct God's temple. If you gain God's wisdom, you will be working to spread God's kingdom.

You become wise when you walk with Christ. For example, even though Peter was illiterate, after spending 3.5 years with the Lord and being filled with the Holy Spirit, he became wise and gained many lives for the kingdom of God see Acts (4:13). Check to see who you're spending your time with. We live in the world, but the WORD should guide us. Don't spend too much time with worldly people; their habits are easy to imitate. And gradually, you begin to resemble a worldly man. Walk in the footsteps of Christ and Christ-like people.

Yes, King Solomon made mistakes in his life, and thank God, they are recorded in the Bible for us to read and learn from. Do not repeat the bad things he did during his lifetime, but instead learn from them, and you will have gained wisdom and an understanding heart.

During these last days, we all need an understanding heart; only then will we be able to hear God's voice and hear when the angel blows the trumpet.

What is the most effective way to gain God's wisdom? The solution is to diligently read the Bible and behave in accordance with it!

In the New Testament, wise men sought Christ; let us do the same!

God bless you!
