Thank you Jesus!

One of my prayer group members called me yesterday. Five years ago, I used to go to her place for cottage prayer gatherings. She later relocated to a new city, and I forgot to get her phone number. During the Christmas season, I visited all of the believers and remembered this specific sister who had relocated to another city. In my thoughts, I was praying for her safety and well-being. I also prayed to the Lord about how good it would be if she contacted me again so that I could pray for her. When she phoned me yesterday afternoon, I was overjoyed that the Lord had heard my silent prayer for her. Lord answers all our prayers!  (Jeremiah 33:3)

She greeted me and asked whether I remembered her. I answered, "Yes, I remember you, sister." She continued to speak with me and expressed her gratitude for the influence my prayers had on her life. She claimed that my words (sermons) and way of life had a profound effect on her and her children. She is maturing in the Lord and never forgets to pray. She went on to say, "I've seen a lot of leaders, but your work is so selfless brother." I was overcome with emotion, and tears streamed down my cheek. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing me to be used in ways I could never have imagined. 2021 was a fantastic year for me, and I repeat, it was an incredible year for me, because nothing is impossible with God. Hallelujah!

Rise Early, Pray First!

  “Early to bed and early to rise” - a phrase we all know too well. But let’s be honest: in today’s fast-paced world, early to bed is not always practical. Building with Wisdom!

On June 14th , I went to a prayer meeting at one of my church member’s homes. The prayer request was for a marriage alliance for their daughter. I shared this verse in their home: Proverbs 14:1 (KJV) Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. It is through wisdom that one can build or construct a house. Building a house is not just about the physical structure—it includes nurturing relationships within the family. Anything that is to be built requires wisdom, and we all know that true wisdom comes from God—godly wisdom, not the devil’s cunning or destructive thoughts. This verse presents two opposites: one who builds and one who destroys. The first part of the verse says, “wise woman.” Let us look deeper.
