Your Body, HIS Temple!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

This verse begins with a query. "What?" When God asks a question, we must listen. Take a breather and listen. The finest thing about the Bible is that it speaks to us and causes us to reflect? Isn't it remarkable how amazing God's word is? I implore everyone to continue to read the Bible. It will improve your life in a great way.

Returning to today's theme, have you been so engrossed in the world that you have forgotten that you were selected and purified by God? Have you strayed from God's path?

Today's culture promotes sexual immorality and greed as normal and acceptable behaviors. Wrong! This is completely false.

We must live holy lives because God is holy. The qualities that a temple cannot have are listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Impurity and holiness cannot coexist. Impurity dwells in the dark, whereas God's children dwell in the light. If you are struggling with any of these sins, repent right now! God can heal your heart and mind.

Also, we need to make certain changes in our daily lives, such as eradicating habits like watching too much television, being addicted to cell phones, and living a Hippocratic lifestyle.

Furthermore, stop comparing yourself to other (worldly) people. They have not been chosen, but you have. They have material things, but you have the Word of God within you. Why don't you pray for their salvation so that they, too, can become God's temple? You will be defeating the devil's work and allowing the Kingdom of Heaven to spread on Earth as a result of your actions.

Apart from living a holy life, you should also look after your health. Always eat on time. Consume a balanced diet. Sleep at a regular interval. Exercise and maintain a healthy weight. As a result, you will be able to honor God via your body. To live a healthy life, seek God's wisdom, and he will bless you with excellent health. Yes, it is important to take care of your health, because Jesus died young so that you could live a long, healthy life and glorify him in your body.

Solomon's temple had been lavishly decorated. The Tabernacle of Moses was unique. You are his temple as per the New Testament. People come to the temple seeking solace, healing, and forgiveness, among other things. Now that you are God's temple, you must act and behave accordingly. Take pride in Christ, but not to the point of arrogance. People will come to you if you act like Christ, and you will pray for them. You are honoring God via your body in this way.

Solomon's temple was not built in a day. You won't be transformed in a day or two, either. Allow yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit. He'll make it possible for you to complete your transformation. Then you will honor God in every condition of your life. I pray that you serve the Lord with all of your heart and soul, as well as through your body.

Since you are God's temple, no evil or negative power on the planet can bring you down. God will take care of his temple, i.e. your body, but you must cooperate with him. Allow him to clean you inside and out, and let him work on this temple.

Say this Prayer:

Forgive me, God, for my impure thoughts and the lust in my heart. I understand that these things are not holy and that they separate me from you. I'm sorry! Help me to focus on the things of your kingdom rather than the things of this world. Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and forgiveness. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Keep your distance from things that keep you from God!

God bless you!
