Thank you Jesus!

My year-end blog article finishes with a thank-you note. Thank you Jesus! One of my prayer group members called me yesterday. Five years ago, I used to go to her place for cottage prayer gatherings. She later relocated to a new city, and I forgot to get her phone number. During the Christmas season, I visited all of the believers and remembered this specific sister who had relocated to another city. In my thoughts, I was praying for her safety and well-being. I also prayed to the Lord about how good it would be if she contacted me again so that I could pray for her. When she phoned me yesterday afternoon, I was overjoyed that the Lord had heard my silent prayer for her. Lord answers all our prayers!   (Jeremiah 33:3) She greeted me and asked whether I remembered her. I answered, "Yes, I remember you, sister." She continued to speak with me and expressed her gratitude for the influence my prayers had on her life. She claimed that my words (sermons) and way of life had a ...

Eyes and Heart!

In the month of October 2021, I finished a bible study in which I meditated on chapters from the book of Proverbs. October has 31 days, and Proverbs has 31 chapters. As a result, each day a new chapter was pondered. God spoke to me through this verse on October 23rd, and I took mental notes of it. I'm posting it on the blog since it's perfect for the Christmas season. God invites you to surrender your heart and eyes to him. Isn't this strange? This is something we must comprehend in this article. Giving God your heart is the most valuable present you can give him of all the gifts and offers you can make. There are numerous Bible passages that deal with the subject of "heart." I've included a few to give you some ideas: Above all else, guard your h...

Blessed December!

I wrote a blog on November 26th, 2021, but what can I do if God inspires me to write another one within a few days? My wife's brothers came to see us last night, November 30th (around 9:30 PM IST). For a while, we all prayed together. After the prayers, I served them a few savories to eat. While my wife and her brothers were eating and talking about various things, I sat down and began composing the "verse of the day" so that I might share it in the morning prayers at church the next day. Of all the months, December holds a special place in my heart for a variety of reasons. The first reason is that we commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior. The second reason is that it was in December that I met my wife, became engaged to her, and married her. God has blessed me greatly in December, and I shall be eternally grateful to him. Returning to the verse that God has engraved on my heart. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:1...
