Not two, but one

I just published a blog on Sunday, and now I'm back with another. Please read this because it is important and applies to everyone. I was getting ready for evening prayers after finishing my office work. I received a phone call from a brother who was sharing his story with me. He has been married for 30 years and is now considering divorcing his wife and living separately. And it was at that point that the Holy Spirit inspired me to write this article. Please take the time to read and be blessed. When couples get married, they hold each other's hands, and it would be even better if they continued to hold each other's hands throughout their marriage. We all make vows at the wedding ceremony in God's presence and in front of men, to stay together, whether in difficult or good times, but do we keep them? Why is marriage called "holy matrimony"? God is Holy and HE created man and woman in His own image. Now He is uniting these two individuals as a couple...

Not tomorrow, but today!

What are you doing with your 'now' ? Are you squandering your time or putting it to good use? The wise will make the most of the time they have and prepare for the future, whilst the unwise will only think of temporary pleasure and be pleased with it, completely ignoring the future. See Mark 9:48 I'd like to tell you about an incident that may pique your interest in getting saved. My friend's father would occasionally attend church, but he was never a regular. He used to go to church only when he was having a p...

WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE - 2

Here is the second blog on Wisdom, as promised. Please read my earlier blog on this topic if you haven't already. This is a follow-up to my previous blog. To do justice and serve the people, King Solomon sought God's wisdom and knowledge. The bible is such a wonderful book that it also covers all of the specifics of prayer requests. The narrative appears in the Bible twice, in 2 Chronicles 1 and 1 King 3 . It's crucial if anything is addressed twice. God wants us to pay attention to this story and to Solomon's speech. 2 Chronicles 1:10 mentions wisdom and knowledge, and 1 King 3:9 makes a similar statement, but from a different angle. Let us analyze this in today's post. He had asked for a heart of understanding ( 1 King 3:9) . An understanding heart is a heart that listens to God's voice. When you listen to God's voice, you will be more empathic toward people and patient when listening to their issues. You can only do justice to your citizens if you...
